Amir practices law in both Georgia and South Carolina. He graduated cum laude from the College of William and Mary majoring in business administration and international relations. After graduating, he worked at King & Spalding, one of Atlanta's largest international law firms. He obtained his law degree from the University of South Carolina with Dean's List distinction and received the CALI award for outstanding academic achievement.  He served as an editor with the South Carolina Journal of International Law & Business and a legal research assistant on international banking regulations.
